Why does all scanning software and equipment assume you work on one page at a time. I have a crap ton of stuff that I would like to digitize, so that I can recycle those dead trees thereby reducing the stuff that I own.
- I want to feed many documents into a machine and be done with it.
- I want the software to just take the scan and save it to a document. Future scans should be automatically appended to the working document.
- Just work.
Update: I installed SANE, and XSane on Ubuntu, and it has a multi-page mode. It works fairly well, but XSane is a little quirky. No, I do not know why it is spelled SANE, and XSane.
